Infants & Toddlers

3 months–2 years | Small groups | 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio

A Gentle Beginning, Built on Trust and Connection

The first years of life are a time of extraordinary growth. At Creative Minds, we create a warm, responsive environment where babies and toddlers feel safe, secure, and truly known.

Our infant and toddler program is rooted in respectful, relationship-based caregiving inspired by the RIE® approach. We believe babies are capable, curious participants in their own development. Our teachers slow down, pay attention, and respond to each child’s cues—building trust through everyday moments of care, connection, and exploration.

Relationships Come First

We believe strong relationships are the foundation for healthy development. Our primary caregiving approach gives each child a close, consistent relationship with a teacher who provides most of their daily care routines.

This consistency helps children build secure attachments and gives them the confidence to explore their world. As they grow, they also develop meaningful relationships with their teachers and peers in our small-group environment.

Growing at Their Own Pace

Every child develops differently. We respect each child’s individual rhythm and allow motor skills and other developmental milestones to unfold naturally, without rushing the process.

Through age-appropriate sensory experiences, floor time, movement, music, outdoor exploration, and everyday interactions, children develop important cognitive, physical, social, and emotional skills while simply being children.

A Day Filled With Care, Connection, and Discovery

Our days balance attentive caregiving with opportunities for exploration and play. Children experience:

    • Responsive, one-on-one caregiving and nurturing relationships
    • A consistent primary caregiver to support secure attachment
    • Small groups and a 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio
    • Sensory experiences that encourage curiosity and discovery
    • Indoor and outdoor exploration throughout the year
    • Opportunities to develop movement and motor skills naturally
    • Early social experiences with peers
    • Daily observations and communication with families
    • Support for breastfeeding families

Our park-like outdoor setting, covered patio, and large trees provide inviting spaces for children to experience the outdoors year-round.

A Partnership With Parents

We know that leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. We work closely with families to understand your child’s routines, personality, cues, and changing needs.

Through daily communication and observations, we keep you connected to your child’s experiences and development—so you can feel confident that your child is known, cared for, and supported throughout the day.

Our Goal

To give every child a secure foundation from which to explore, develop confidence, and discover the world around them.

A place where your baby is known.
A place where trust comes first.
A place where little ones can grow at their own pace.
